Discerning women don’t want to hear pastors twist and sugar coat God’s Word to suit their own needs. The Bible is not about us, our problems, and making all our hopes and dreams come true. God is not our ‘genie in a bottle’ nor is He Santa Claus. We don’t want to hear seeker-driven or ‘Word of Faith’ false doctrine. We don’t need self-improvement motivational speeches or a list of life tips to follow. We want to hear a pastor rightly handle God’s word and simply present the truth of the word led by Holy Spirit. If Holy Spirit is not in control we don’t want to be there. Continue reading
Scripture Reference: 2 Kings 19:1-37
First Hezekiah got alone with God. His prayer was immediate. (verse 14). When Hezekiah received the threatening letter, he immediately spread it before the Lord. There was no thought of calling a committee, his best friend or seeking the advice of friends on Facebook; Hezekiah knew what to do, as did Elisha (2 Kings 4:33) and Nehemiah (Nehemiah 2:4) in similar situations.

Where had dropped the blood of lambs, now dropped the blood of life. Which had once brought death now was giving life! Where each drop of blood fell….love blossomed! Hallelujah! Thank you Lord! Not everyone who stands behind a pulpit and calls themselves a preacher is anointed by God. Sorry folks but that’s the truth! Continue reading
